Refund, Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy
Story Sessions
If you wish to cancel your session, you have up until 24 hours prior to the session start time to notify Story Bears via chat@storybears.co.uk. We offer credit for cancelled sessions and do not give cash refunds. We are sorry that we cannot give you credit once you are within 24 hours of the session start time.
You are able to reschedule a session up until 12 hours before the session starts. We are sorry that we are unable to move appointments around once you are within 12 hours of the session start time.
If Story Bears needs to cancel a session due to extenuating circumstances, you will be given as much notice as possible and given credit for the price of the session so that you can rebook for another time. If you have a package, the amount will go back onto the email you use to book through the website.
We do not offer refunds or credits on special one-off sessions and these sessions are unable to be rescheduled.
Baby Massage Courses
Courses are non-refundable.
If you are able to give us notice that you need to miss a session, we may be able to offer a session on a different day at another venue if there is space. We always recap from the week before so you will still be able to learn the massage strokes. We also offer the chance to drop into a session on a future course for £6.
If Story Bears needs to cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances, we will arrange a catch-up session.

Safeguarding Policy
Everyone has a responsibility for safeguarding children and young people.
An account of adults and children will be taken at the beginning of each session.
All Story Bears staff have a DBS check.
Staff are kept up to date with the latest safeguarding guidance to recognise symptoms of potential abuse, harm or neglect.
If staff have a concern about a child, they will record who, what, why, when and where in precise and comprehensive notes as soon as possible.
Staff will keep their concerns and their notes confidential, and only share information with those who are a part of the safeguarding process. This will include making the hired venue or early years setting aware.
If staff have a concern about a child, they will contact the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).
If staff deem a child is at immediate risk they will contact the police on 999.
